Photoshop, Illustrator, InkJet Prints on Window Decals, Glass Wine LabelsIn the early stages of my Thesis development, I was interested in how common the theme of the Seven Deadly Sins is in pop culture today, yet these sins are often overlooked in every day life. People are constantly justifying their actions and twisting definitions to make these grave acts appear to be good.
I decided to create wine labels using pop culture imagery because alcohol is very similar to the deadly sins in that it can be fine in moderation, but can be addictive and become very dangerous and harmful. But despite the poisonous effects it can have, wine is considered to be classy and elegant, similar to how the deadly sins have been twisted into positive actions.
